Cost of Services

$50 per hour

Running a business is complex enough for the both of us, so I keep my pricing simple. I will provide anywhere from one to five hours per week depending on your needs, and of course, your budget. There are a few things to consider when deciding how many hours to book me for:

  • How competitive is your market?

  • How complex is your target audience?

  • How long is your timeline to see results?

  • How many of the service I offer are you willing/able to do yourself?

How competitive is your market?

This one is fairly straight forward, how dense of a population are you in and how much of that population is of a marrying age?  Larger cities mean both more opportunity and more competition.  More competition means you need a greater investment in your SEO to get and stay ahead.

How complex is your target audience?

Basically, how niche or broad is your preferred client base.  Both ends of this spectrum require a more significant effort in your SEO.  If your audience is very niche i.e. elopement photographers and videographers, then we have a smaller audience that can be captured and google’s indexing is not going to be well rounded.  On the other side if your audience is very broad, you operate in multiple states, or offer multiple services, then we need to create landing pages and convince google you are an expert in all of those places and networks.  That takes more time than if you are a florist that does not work outside of a 150 mile radius.

How long is your timeline to see results?

SEO takes time to build and anyone that claims they have a quick solution or can make huge strides in less than three months is either a scammer or ignorant.  All of the factors above will dictate how long the process is to see results, but we can speed things up by putting in more time and energy.  At one hour per week you will absolutely see results, but it may take as much as a year before I would consider those results to be significant, and two years to get to the top of the first page.  That being said if you are a destination wedding videographer and want to be the first result on google in Europe, the Caribbean, and Central America, that would take a minimum of five years at five hours per week.  It is all relative and depends on your specific situation, but after our consultation you will have an understanding of a reasonable expectation for your investment.

How many of the services I offer are you willing/able to do yourself?

If your budget only allows for one hour per week, but you want the results of five hours per week, I am more than willing to give you direction on how to bridge the gap.  My list of services is below, and there are a couple things that I would want to do myself, but there are a few things you can certainly do for yourself.  On Day One I will be able to do them much more quickly than you could, but SEO is all about consistency.  If you stay consistent it can become a normal part of your workday and a much shorter piece as time goes on.

My Services

  • 3,6,9 Plan

The first month we will start with a one month plan. After that I will generate a three, six, and nine month plan detailing your SEO goals and my strategy for achieving them.

  • Monthly Reviews

The first month we will be communicating more frequently, and afterwards I will be available for more communication but at a minimum we will have a once a month review. We will review the data on your site’s performance, progress towards our 3,6,9 month plan, any adjustments I feel are necessary, and any changes you would like to see.

  • On-Page Optimizations

Plenty of quality text, website speed, mobile friendliness, image files, “clean” website structure, private pages, 404 page, meta descriptions, headers, internal linking. All these plus a few other things I need to check and potentially fix before anything else.

  • Off-Page Optimizations

In the beginning this is mostly making sure your NAP is identical across indexes, setting up and/or optimizing your Google Business page, and reviewing your current reports to see what needs to be fixed before we can move forward.

  • Google Reviews

Leaving reviews for other vendors and venues is so important for your business. It doesn’t always happen but we hope for the holy trinity - a review in return, a backlink on their website, and a spot on their preferred vendors list. This not only boosts your SEO but provides some local networking. I can also set up a system and solicit quality reviews from your clients. These can be beneficial in so many different areas.

  • Submissions

I will submit your work for publication with relevant publishers. The goal is to get backlinks to your website, the more the better. It can be tricky getting published with the sheer volume of submissions these publications receive, but I have a few tricks up my sleeve.

  • Blogs

Blogs are a great way to boost your SEO. Educational blogs can be especially potent and beneficial. Depending on the number of hours you book me for, I would recommend letting me do the educational blogs and if you are already doing other blogs, maintain that process.

  • Landing Pages

Building out custom Landing Pages is essential if you work in multiple states, industries, networks, or in an especially competitive area. Depending on your SEO needs, this could be a cornerstone of your strategy.

  • General Optimization

If our strategy involves you doing some of these services then I will need to follow up and make sure the internal links, titles, meta titles, alt text, URL’s, image titles, and body text are all optimized for your SEO growth.
